Mission

The Friends' Mission is to preserve and enhance the park as a recreational resource for residents, workers and visitors in the City of Boston.

Pursuing its goal, the Friends of Copley Square raise funds to:

Supplement funding where extraordinary maintenance is required, such as the fountain and the irrigation system

Raise capital and provide management when improvements or additions to the park (new furnishings, additional plantings) are desirable.

Cooperate with the Parks Department in developing uses that enhance the appeal of the Park and build a constituency for its continued improvement and protection.
